Palo Alto College celebrated the 125th anniversary of Fiesta, San Antonio’s annual 11-day party, in a big way on Thursday, April 21, 2016.
This family-friendly South Side event–filled with food, music, a children’s area, a carne asada contest, spectacular fireworks and more–gave Palo Alto students, faculty, staff and community neighbors a chance to kick back and have some fun.
Rain delayed the start of this official Fiesta event for an hour, but the sun came out and PACfest volunteers swooped into action. Approximately 7,000 people enjoyed this 10-hour event.
PACfest is always the Thursday before Friday’s Battle of Flowers Parade. Next year’s PACfest will be on Thursday, April 27, 2017. Like the college’s Facebook page to stay in the loop!
