Kyle Friesenhahn is head diving coach a Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi. His experience with The Pulse helped with his sports writing, which he likes to do in his spare time. While at Palo Alto, Friesenhahn spent his time as an athlete for the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). He became an academic athletic All-American diver and wishes PAC had more athletic opportunities because it helped him succeed later in life.

“[Writing for The Pulse] helped me with time management. The Pulse also gave me a new opportunity to meet people, which I probably enjoyed the most about the experience,” wrote Friesenhahn. “I thought I would be done with the sport of diving after college. Wanted to go into print media, but I saw the Internet diminishing the print media product, so I decided to venture toward the business field, and then into coaching.”
