The March 2017 issue of The Pulse is the seventy-fifth issue published since the Fall of 1998. We asked former reporters and editors to let us know where they are now, their favorite Palo Alto memories, and what advice they would give to current students.
Steven Rodriguez attended Palo Alto College in the Fall 2008 through Spring 2013. He graduated from Texas A&M University in San Antonio, and he currently works at the San Antonio Zoo. He wants to make and edit videos.
Rodriguez said that his Pulse experience benefited him. “I make sure to keep up with what is going on in the world, and I always fact check any news that may seem off before I share that news,” he wrote.
- Fact check everything!
- Don’t make up a quote with something someone didn’t say.
- Turn in assignments on time, all of the time.
- Never give up on school. It may be hard at times, but you can make it through.
- Get your bachelor’s degree!!!
