PACfest 2018 was LIT, literally!

Palo Alto College’s PACfest, an official Fiesta event, took place on Thursday, April 26, 2018, from noon to 10 p.m. in the college’s central courtyard. An estimated 6,000 people attended this family-friendly (smoke-free/alcohol-free) event. Mayor Ron Nirenberg greeted PACfest’s attendees, saying PACfest was his family’s favorite Fiesta event.

Musical talent included Mariachi Palomino, Passing Strangers, Lonely Horse, Brandon Michael & True Country, Ram Herrera, and Jay Perez. Erica Gonzaba presided as the event’s Mistress of Ceremonies. A giant fireworks display closed out PACfest and lit up the South Side of San Antonio’s sky. PACfest is always the Thursday before the Battle of Flowers parade. Next year’s event will be on Thurday, April 25, 2019.
